Measuring 247 square kilometers Koh Samui is
Thailand’s third largest island. Highest rainfall is normally measured in June and November. Even in
these months the sun is shining a lot and temperatures are still very pleasant. Lowest temperatures are not
less than 20 degrees Celsius. Hottest months are April and May with temperatures up to 35 degrees Celsius.
In terms of climate Koh Samui is a travel destination all year round.

increasing by the day. Especially for people living and working in Hong Kong and Singapore, Samui is now an
easy to reach destination. Bangkok Airways offers several direct flights per week from/to Hong Kong and Singapore.
From Bangkok Koh Samui can be reached by plane in approx. 1 hour or in about a day by bus or train plus ferry.
Citizens of most European countries (EC) will get a free of charge 30 days entry permit on arrival in Thailand.
